M.A.G. Osmani Medical College (SOMC) is  located in the north-eastern city of Sylhet in Sylhet District. It was renamed in 1986 from the original "Sylhet Medical College" The college provides 5 year MBBS degrees, and admits approximately 175 undergraduate and a good number of post graduate students every year.
